A professional engineer, Eiden had been the manager of Sustainable Design for the NYC School Construction Authority since 2008. Before that, he was president and owner of Richard Eiden Associates and Garden State Controls in West Paterson, then vice president of DVL Consulting Engineers. Eiden also was a part-time professor at the New York University School of Continuing Education and at Fairleigh Dickenson University. Basilios Antonopoulos, 77, Saddle Brook Resident SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- Saddle Brook resident Basilios Antonopoulos died Tuesday, Jan. 19. He was 77. Born and raised in Greece, Antonopoulos immigrated to the United States in 1958. He lived in Saddle Brook for 26 years. Antonopoulos was a member of St. Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church, in Paramus. An avid gardener, he also enjoyed collecting coins and sports cards. Prior to retiring, he was a custodian with the Borough of Tenafly Board of Education.
