Body of Missing Mass Kayaker Found In CT River After 2-Week Search: 'Our Family Is Heartbroken' Searchers have recovered the body of a 27-year-old kayaker who fell into the Connecticut River earlier this month when his craft capsized while fishing with his girlfriend, authorities said. Niklas Delisle, of Chicopee, went missing on May 19 after falling into the water south of the Holyoke Dam. His body was recovered on Friday, May 30, according to the Hampden District Attorney’s Office. Woman Found Dead In New Haven Park; Police Investigating New Haven police are investigating after a woman was found dead in a park early Friday morning.
