Lyndhurst Art Studio Aids Disabled Rec Program With Painting Benefit LYNDHURST, N.J. -- Inspired Spirits is sponsoring a fundraiser for Lyndhurst’s Saturday Integrated Recreation Program -- which helps people with disabilities grow in their independence -- on Friday. It's Time To Register For Fort Lee Summer Soccer Camp FORT LEE, N.J. -- Registration is now open for the 2016 Fort Lee Soccer Summer Camp program, which is open to both Fort Lee residents and non-residents. The program combines highly trained coaches with proven curricula to produce superior growth and development in young players. Kids will get to play lots of different fun games, while training a new skill set every day, such as passing or defending. Edgewater Student Receives Ralph Gregg Memorial Scholarship EDGEWATER, N.J. -- The Northern New Jersey Community Foundation has announced the recipient of its Class of 1964 Ralph Gregg Memorial Scholarship, Leonia High School senior Joseph Robinson of Edgewater. Robinson received the award on June 2 at the Leonia High School Senior Awards Ceremony. The scholarship memorializes Leonia High School 1964 classmate Ralph Gregg. Hillsdale Film Festival Continues Monday With 'Help!' HILLSDALE, N.J. -- It's the ninth year of the Hillsdale Film Festival, and four more films remain to be screened at the Hillsdale Free Public Library.Trailers for all four are embedded above. Video And Photos: Saddle Brook Celebrates 300 Years With Pizza Party SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- The tricentennial committee held a pizza party at VFW Post 3484 on Friday, June 10 -- and video and photos from the celebration are available. In addition to celebrating the township's 300 years, the party celebrated the 100th birthday of resident William Protze, and the cake for the event noted the milestone as well. Becton Bids Farewell To Two Language Teachers EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Henry P. Becton Regional High School is losing two of its world language teachers, Wilma Tripodi and Kristen Hopper, reports the Cat's Eye View, the school's student news site.Both are retiring at the end of the academic year.
