Enjoy Latin Food, Music At Englewood Festival ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- Come partake in the Englewood Chamber of Commerce's Latino Festival on Saturday, June 11, on West Palisade Avenue, from William Street to Tenafly Road. Fair Lawn Avenue Corridor Vision Plan Presentation Arrives On Thursday FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- The public is welcome to attend a Fair Lawn Avenue Corridor Vision Plan presentation on Thursday, June 2. The project is focused on the Radburn Train Station and an area along Fair Lawn Avenue between Route 208 and Abbott Road. Attendees will hear about project details and its potential. Two Westwood School Nurses Recently Honored By Njssna WESTWOOD, N.J. -- Two Westwood Regional School District certified school nurses were honored by the New Jersey State School Nurses Association on Tuesday, May 17. Susannah Petersen was named a 2016 New Jersey "School Nurse Who Makes a Difference." NJSSNA awarded her this year's scholarship for her advanced health education, and to recognize contributions to school nursing. She has been the school nurse at Berkeley Elementary School since 2009. Anthony V. Damato Sr., 61, Lifelong Garfield Resident GARFIELD, N.J. -- Anthony V. Damato Sr., a lifelong Garfield resident, died on Saturday, May 28. He was 61. Damato served on the Garfield School Board for 15 years. He was a coach and director of the Garfield Junior Boilermakers for many years. He was a former captain of Garfield Fire Company 3, where he volunteered for more than 21 years, and he was a member of the New Jersey State Exempt Firemen's Association. Daniel Buchwald, 93, Fort Lee Resident FORT LEE, N.J. -- Daniel Buchwald -- a resident of Fort Lee, formerly of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and Tenafly -- died on Sunday, May 29. He was 93.
