New Milford Student Wins National Courtroom Sketch Artist Competition NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- Sarah Almeda, a New Milford High School senior, won the national title at the Courtroom Artist Student Competition this weekend in Boise, Idaho. It was the first year the New Jersey State Bar had its Mock Trial Courtroom Art program, for high-school students. Almeda was the gold-medal winner there, and she replicated her success at the national competition, as well. A Tuesday Facebook post from the high school both congratulated Almeda and thanked her art teacher, Ms. Bettini, for her support as well.

The project will remove all the existing asphalt and lawn; grade and level the area; sod it; and install a paver patio, pergolas, fire pit, a bocce court and new outdoor furniture. Bike Racing Season Opens On The Rockleigh Mile May 26 ROCKLEIGH, N.J. -- The Rockleigh Criterium Association announces that its 2016 racing season will kick off on Thursday, May 26.A criterium is a bicycle race of a specified number of laps on a closed course over public roads closed to normal traffic.
