Friday Walk-a-thon Aids Bergenfield School BERGENFIELD, N.J. -- Washington Elementary School is hosting its Ninth Annual Walk-A-Thon on Friday, April 29. "Come support and cheer the kids," a Monday WSPA Bergenfield Facebook post notes. "Make your pledge!" WSPA Bergenfield is sponsoring this school-wide fitness and fundraising event, that is raising money for the school's events and activities. Folks can sponsor a student by making a pledge per lap, or simply making an outright donation. The rain date for the event is Wednesday, May 4.
