Marion Travers, 93, Yonkers
YONKERS, N.Y. -- Marion Travers, of Yonkers, died on Wednesday, March 2. She was 93. Born in Yonkers, Travers worked for Bank of Westchester in Yonkers; U.S. Industrial Chemicals; American Can Co.; the Veterans Administration in Juneau, Alaska; Burhan Boiler in Irvington; and Fraitag Plumbing and Sheehan Insurance, both in Yonkers.
She enjoyed photography, sewing, music and loved to travel. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church for over 60 years and a member of the Third Order of St. Francis. She also served as a lector and Eucharistic minister and choir member.

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Virginia Muller, of Yonkers, died on Wednesday, March 2. She was 91.
Born in Mount Vernon, Muller was a retired officer of Chemical/Chase Bank.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Muller; sister Lucy Ruberto of Mt. Vernon; step-children Charles Muller and Michelle Holzman; and many nieces and nephews.
Muller was predeceased by her parents, Elizabeth and James Urezzio; sisters Mary Carsone, Minnie Barreiro, Carol Stola and Dolores Ceballos; and brothers Joseph and Raymond.

TEANECK, N.J. --Kanjiramala S. George, of Teaneck, died on Thursday, March 3. He was 75. Born in India, George worked as a chemist with Quest Diagnostics of Little Ferry. He is survived by his wife, Sosamma (Ittiavira).
Visiting hours will be from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, March 4, at the Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, 161 Washington Ave., in Dumont. A gathering will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 5, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Westwood Cemetery, in Westwood.

DANBURY, Conn. -- On Valentine's, a his team at Regional Hospice and Home Care helped grant the wish of their 21-year-old patient with a rare form of cancer.Marc Anthony is the music idol of Cody Maldonado, who's been struggling with Ewing's sarcoma, a somewhat rare kind of cancer which targets bones, for the past four years. Knowing of Maldonado's fandom, his team made a dream night happen.
