Man Killed After Crashing Into Tree: Lehigh County Coroner A Weisenberg Township man was killed Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 30 when his car left the roadway and hit a tree, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.  It happened on the 8000 block of Holbens Valley Road around 1:15 p.m., officials said.  Christopher M. Baines was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple blunt force injuries, said Coroner Dan Buglio. HIs death was ruled accidental.  Pennsylvania State Police are investigating, according to the release.

Woman Found Shot Dead In Philadelphia Home, Say Police Detectives are investigating after a woman was found dead from a gunshot wound in a West Philadelphia home early Tuesday morning, Jan. 30, police told Daily Voice.  Police were called to the 3900 block of Melon Street before 1:30 a.m., the department said. The unidentified victim, thought to be in her 20s or 30s, was shot once in the head and pronounced dead at the scene, according to officials.  Investigators believe the shots were fired from outside the home, 6abc reported. Police said no arrests had been made and no weapon recovered as of Tuesday afternoon.

Emmaus Man Killed On Route 378 Crash In Bethlehem: Coroner One man is dead after his car hit a tractor-trailer on Route 378 in Bethlehem on Monday night, Jan. 29, according to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.  The crash happened in the northbound lanes just south of Route 22 around 10:15 p.m., officials said.  Ricardo Lee, 40, of Emmaus, was taken to the emergency department at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg and died from multiple blunt force injuries, the coroner said. His death was ruled accidental.  Bethlehem police are also investigating the crash, officials added.
