Thieves Snatch 56 Cases Of Pork From Truck In Northeast Philly: Authorities Philadelphia police are investigating an early morning cargo theft in the Northeast, officials told Daily Voice.  Fifty-six cases of pork were stolen from the back of a truck on the 2800 block of Charter Street just before 2 a.m. Wednesday, April 10, PPD said.  Two suspects fled onto Red Lion Road in a silver or bronze Lexus SUV, and were last seen on Roosevelt Boulevard, according to investigators.  No arrests have been made as of Wednesday afternoon, they added.  It's at least the second case of cargo theft in Northeast Philadelphia in the last month.

Woman, 57, Found Murdered In Montco Home: DA A homicide investigation is underway after a Wyndmoor woman was found dead in her home Wednesday morning, April 10.  Springfield Township police found 57-year-old Elizabeth Shea dead in a residence on the 1000 block of Cromwell Lane around 7:30 a.m., the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office said.  Police were visiting the home to conduct a welfare check when they found her in the master bedroom, according to the release.  An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday, April 11.  Anyone with information is asked to call county detectives at 610-226-5553 or township …

Coroner Names Dump Truck Driver Killed In Lehigh Twp. Crash Officials have identified the dump truck driver who died in an accident on Route 145 Tuesday morning, April 9 as Lincoln P. Brown.  Brown, 52, of Selinsgrove, was southbound when his tri-axle truck crashed in Lehigh Township, said the Northampton County Coroner's Office. He died from injuries sustained in the crash and the manner of death was accidental, authorities said.  Route 145 was closed between Blue Mountain Drive and Birch Drive for about three hours while crews worked the scene, according to township police.
