Minor Caught With Gun After Chase Through Reading, Authorities Say A "juvenile" faces weapons charges after leading police on a chase through Reading on Wednesday, Feb. 27, according to authorities.  RPD said they pursued a car that fled from a traffic stop on the 400 block of North 3rd Street. Eventually, the driver bailed and fled on foot, the department said.  When officers chased him down, he had a firearm with a Glock auto sear (or "switch") and an extended magazine in his possession, police said.  VICE Criminal Investigators assisted patrol officers with the arrest, RPD added.

Woman 'Seriously Injured' By Gunfire In Bethlehem, Police Say Police are investigating after a woman was shot in Bethlehem on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 28, authorities said in a release.  Authorities received multiple calls about gunfire on the 400 block of Cherokee Street around 3:15 p.m., the department said.  The victim, believed to be in her 20s, had been taken to an area hospital in a personal car before police arrived, according to officials. Stabbing Near SEPTA Station Leaves Victim Critical: Philadelphia Police A 40-year-old man is hospitalized in critical condition after he was stabbed near a Kensington SEPTA station early Wednesday morning, Feb. 28, according to city police.  It happened on the 800 block of East Allegheny Avenue around 1:50 a.m., authorities said.  The victim was stabbed once in the left side of the back and rushed to Temple University Hospital, police said. No weapons were recovered from the scene and no suspects are in custody as of midday Wednesday.
