Roughan is a senior majoring in interactive media and game development, and professional writing. The criteria for the WPI Dean's List differ from that of most other universities as WPI does not compute a grade point average. Darien Library Hosts Music Of West Africa Concert DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien Library will host a concert featuring West African music at 5 p.m. Feb. 14. Attendees will enjoy a performance on the kora, a 21-string harp whose roots stretch back to the mid-1700s.  Songs performed on the kora are often traditional tunes that praise leaders of high political status and those who helped expand the Mande Empire. Sean Gaskell will lead the performance. He has played the kora for audiences across the United States, Gambia and Senegal.  The Darien Library is at 1441 Post Road.
