Ridgefield Playhouse Delays Alan Parsons Live Project Due To Storm RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Due to the impending snowstorm, the Ridgefield Playhouse has rescheduled the Alan Parsons Live Project concert. It is moving from Wednesday, Jan. 28, to Monday, Feb. 2 at 8 p.m. The box office is contacting all ticket holders for this sold-out show.  The Ridgefield Playhouse is located at 80 East Ridge.

Mount Vernon Woman Charged With DWI MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- New York State Police charged a Mount Vernon woman with driving while intoxicated on Sunday, according to officials.  Troopers were dispatched to investigate a car accident on the Sprain Brook Parkway. During the investigation, they suspected Phillipa Climaco, 29, of being intoxicated, police said.  A breath sample yielded a blood alcohol content of 0.09 percent, just above the legal limit of 0.08 percent, police said.  Climaco is scheduled to appear in Greenburgh Town Court on Feb. 5, police said.

Easton Retains AAA Bond Rating EASTON, Conn. -- Easton First Selectman Adam Dunsby announced the town has retained its AAA bond rating from Standard & Poor’s in a letter to the Easton Courier.  The town needed to update its bond rating in order to issue $1.62 million of 10-year general obligation bonds and $4.92 million of 11-month bond anticipation notes, Dunsby said in the letter.  Click here to read the full letter at the Easton Courier.
