Catch Norwalk Aquarium's Festival Of Lighthouses Before It Ends Monday NORWALK, Conn. -- Time is running out to cast a vote in the 13th annual “Festival of Lighthouses Contest” at The Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk. The creative display of 24 large model lighthouses made by local artists, amateurs and students will close on Monday. The exhibit, which has been open since Nov. 22, works like a juried art show except that thousands of Maritime Aquarium visitors are the jury. Weekend Storm Could Bring Snow, Rain To Norwalk FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Fairfield County's big chill will finally break on Sunday, with temperatures reaching the 40-degree mark, but there will be a chance of snow overnight into Monday. Scarsdale's James Nicholas Commits To Yale SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Scarsdale athlete James Nicholas has committed to play golf and football at Yale, according to LoHud.com. Nicholas, who is a standout at hockey as well, chose golf and football because the hockey schedule would have presented too many conflicts, LoHud.com reported. John Jay HS Releases First-Quarter Honor Roll CROSS RIVER, N.Y. -- John Jay High School in Cross River released the list of honor roll students for the first quarter of the 2014-15 school year recently. In order to be on the fall or spring honor roll, a student must have a semester average of 90 percent or higher, have no grades lower than 80 percent, have no incompletes, and carry a minimum of 5 classes plus physical education.
