Woman Was Intoxicated When She Crashed Into State Trooper In Chicopee, Sped Away: DA A 32-year-old woman accused of seriously injuring a Massachusetts State trooper when she crashed into him on I-90 and drove off was intoxicated at the time of the crash, authorities said.  Naisha Rodriguez, 32, of Springfield, faces multiple charges following the early morning crash on Tuesday, June 10, in the westbound lanes in Chicopee, the Hampden District Attorney said.  The trooper was performing a traffic stop around 2:20 a.m. Exit 51 in Chicopee when a car slammed into them. Police ID Chelmsford Man Killed After Crashing Into Tree A 61-year-old Chelmsford man was killed this week after his vehicle left the road and crashed into a tree, authorities said.  Ronald Wetmore was behind the wheel of a pickup truck that was driving down Westford Street around 11 p.m. on Monday, June 9, Chelmsford police said.  It's unclear why, but he left the road near 160 Westford Street and hit the tree. There were no passengers in the truck with him.  Paramedics rushed him to Lowell General Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.  The crash remains under investigation.

Waterbury School Bus With Students Involved In Crash A bus loaded with students crashed in Waterbury on Tuesday morning, June 10.  The crash was reported around 8:30 a.m. in the area of 571 Highland Ave., as the bus was making its way to Rotella Magnet School, Waterbury police said. It's unclear what caused the crash or who is at fault, but police said none of the students on board were injured. The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor wounds, and paramedics took them to an area hospital for treatment.  Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
