Two-Time Felon, East Orange Resident Convicted Of Possessing Firearm An East Orange man with two prior felony convictions was found guilty of unlawfully possessing a firearm on Thursday, Jan. 25, authorities said.  In May 2019, East Orange detectives were on patrol then they discovered a group of men trespassing on a property at South Munn Avenue, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore Stephens, II said. Plainfield Firefighter, 32, Dies In Line Of Duty (Update) Marques Hudson, a 32-year-old firefighter in Plainfield, was killed while battling a fire at 332 Emerson Ave. on Friday, Jan. 26, the city announced. On Tuesday, Jan. 23, a Maplewood police officer observed a parked motor vehicle with fogged-up windows on Millburn Avenue. After conducting an investigation, police discovered Alexis Lluminquinga had walked off an NJ Transit bus and entered the vehicle, which did not belong to him, officers said. Ricardo The NJ Transit Bull On The Mend After Battling Deadly Infection Ricardo, the bull that captured the Garden State's attention after it wandered onto the train tracks last month, is recovering after battling a deadly infection, his caretakers said.
