New details reveal how a Philadelphia man tied to the Proud Boys terrorized Black residents with racist threats, violent messages, and extremist propaganda before being sentenced to federal prison, prosecutors announced on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
Mark Tucci, 44, was sentenced to 33 months in federal prison, two years of supervised release, and more than $16,500 in restitution after admitting to a series of violent, hate-fueled threats targeting Black City of Philadelphia employees and a Black motorist, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

A Hudson Valley man already serving time for murder has been sentenced to 33 years to life in prison for killing his neighbor and hiding the body along a Sullivan County trail.
Jonte Wunner, 27, of Monticello, received the stacked sentence Monday, Nov. 24, after a Sullivan County jury found he beat and shot 42-year-old Jose Rodriguez inside a Lakewood Avenue on Oct. 4, 2024.
After the killing, Wunner wrapped Rodriguez’s body in a tarp, transported it away from the home, and dumped it on the nearby Woodridge rail trail in an attempt to hide the crime, prosecutors said.
