Saddle Brook Church Offers Pysanky Class SADDLE BROOK, N.J. -- Saddle Brook's Holy Apostles Eastern Orthodox Church is hosting a free class, teaching to to make pysanky -- beautiful Ukranian Easter eggs, on Friday April 8. The public is welcome. These hand-decorated eggs are one of the many rich traditions of the Orthodox Church. According to Wikipedia, the eggs are "decorated with traditional Ukrainian folk designs using a wax-resist (batik) method.
