Stanley H. Pniewski, 64, Former North Bergen Resident
NORTH BERGEN, N.J. -- Stanley H. Pniewski -- a Newark resident, formerly of North Bergen, died on Monday, Feb. 8. He was 64.
Born in Jersey City, Pniewski was a case worker manager for the Bergen County Board of Social Services, in Rochelle Park.
He is survived by his wife, Judith (Filippone) Pniewski; siblings MaryAnn Verbitski and Henry Pniewski; nephew and niece David Verbitski and Sandra Wilson; and grand-nephews and -nieces Alexander, Makayla, Joshua, Brittany and Blake.
Pniewski was predeceased by his parents, Helen (Dabkowski) and Henry Pniewski.

Ridgewood Recreation Offers Children's Show For School Break
RIDGEWOOD, N.J. -- During next week's school recess, Ridgewood Parks and Recreation will welcome performer Mr. Jon to share guitar, songs and playful props to entertaining area preschoolers Tuesday, Feb. 16.
Admission is $5, but it is free for kids younger than 2. Because seating is limited, it's recommended you buy tickets in advance via CommunityPass here or in person with cash or check at the Stable, 259 N. Maple Ave., Ridgewood.

Clifton Breakfast Supports Rainbow Girls Fundraiser
CLIFTON, N.J. -- The Clifton Masonic Lodge will host a breakfast fundraiser Sunday, Feb. 21 for the Clifton Assembly No. 16 Rainbow Girls.
The menu includes pancakes, eggs, ham, sausage, home fries, toast, juice, coffee and tea. An $8 donation is suggested.
