Ramapo College Welcome The Les Paul Festival
MAHWAH, N.J. -- The Angelica and Russ Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts at the Ramapo College of New Jersey will present The Les Paul Festival, Nicki Parrott Trio with Dave Stryker on Saturday, Feb. 27,.
The concert will feature Nicki Parrott, Dave Stryker, John DiMartino and Alvin Atkinson.
Born in Newcastle, Australia, Parrott began performing at the Iridium Jazz Club with the legendary guitarist and inventor, Les Paul, as part of the Les Paul Trio, in June 2000.

Ronald P. Sullivan, 73, Yonkers Resident
YONKERS, N.Y. -- Yonkers resident Ronald Patrick Sullivan died on Thursday, Jan. 21. He was 73.
Sullivan was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on July 23, 1942, to Joseph and Rose (Gaffney) Sullivan and attended schools in Bronxville and Yonkers.
He joined the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters in 1961, and he worked as a plumber with Local 1 in New York City until his retirement.
During the prime of his life, he was an avid skier who enjoyed his home on Hunter Mountain and summers on the beach in Belmar, N.J.
Sullivan is survived by his brother Joseph Sullivan.

Catherine McClinch, 29, Fairfield Resident
FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Fairfield resident Catherine A. McClinch died Saturday, Jan. 23. She was 29.
A student at St. Catherine's Academy, McClinch enjoyed swimming at the Westport YMCA and had a great love of all types of music. She spent summers in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, where she enjoyed walks at Ocean Point, fast boat rides with her dad and conducting the Thursday night band concerts at the library.
McClinch also loved to dine out, play basketball and hug her dog, Whitney.

PARAMUS, N.J. -- Paramus resident Leah Mactas died Sunday, Jan. 24. She was 85.
She is survived by her husband, Leonard; sons Mark, Edward, Jay, Bruce and Seth and their wives; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother- and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27 at Robert Schoem's Menorah Chapel, W-150 Route 4 East, Paramus, followed by burial at the Sanctuary of Abraham and Sarah, Cedar Park Cemetery, 735 Forest Ave., Paramus.

Ann (DiSanto) Johnson, 87, Of Yonkers
YONKERS, N.Y. -- Lifelong Yonkers resident Ann (DiSanto) Johnson died on Saturday, Jan. 23. She was 87.
Johnson was born on Jan. 10, 1929 to Leonard and Sara (Denise) DiSanto in Yonkers and attended Yonkers schools. She worked in Sacred Heart High School's cafeteria for more than 25 years, retiring in 2000.
She was a parishioner of Monastery Church of the Sacred Heart and a member of the Finian Seniors.
