$150K Powerball Ticket Sold In Reading A Turkey Hill shopper in Reading got six figures richer over the weekend playing Powerball, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.  Officials said the lucky player matched four of the five white balls pulled plus the red Powerball to win $150,000 in the Saturday, Jan. 20 drawing. The Turkey Hill at 2001 Kutztown Road is slated to receive a $500 bonus check for vending the winning ticket.  It's the first Pennsylvania Lottery winner of the year for Berks County, according to the state website.  The winner is not known until they step forward to claim their prize and …

Next-Of-Kin Sought For Late Allentown Woman, 61 (Updated) (Note: Ms. Walls' family has since been located by the Lehigh County Coroner's Office) The Lehigh County Coroner's Office is looking for the family of a 61-year-old Allentown woman who passed early Monday morning, Jan. 22.  Alicia Lynn Walls was pronounced dead from natural causes at her home just before 2 a.m., said Coroner Daniel A. Philadelphia Teacher, Levittown Mom Dies, 47 Nicole Larue Walsh, a longtime teacher in Philadelphia schools and a Levittown mother of three, passed unexpectedly on Tuesday, Jan. 16, loved ones said in her obituary. Man Attempts To 'Bite', 'Spit' On Kennett Square Officers, Police Say An Avondale man is accused of trying to bite and spit on Kennett Square police officers while they tried to take him to a hospital, the department said in a release.  Erik Herrera-Bedolla, 21, is charged with aggravated assault, resisting arrest, and harassment, said KSPD.  Authorities said it happened on Sunday, Jan. 14 at the 100 block of North Willow Street. He was released on $7,500 bail and has a hearing scheduled for Jan. 24, court records show.
