Four Displaced By Fire In Northeast Philadelphia: Authorities Philadelphia firefighters responded to a burning home in the city's Frankford neighborhood early on Tuesday, April 2, officials told Daily Voice.  It happened on the 4300 block of Griscom Street around 1:45 a.m., PFD said. Firefighters found heavy fire coming from the two-story home and took 30 minutes to place the flames under control, according to a spokesperson.  Medics treated two people at the scene and took them to an area hospital, officials said. Police ID 19-Year-Old Killed In Reading Shooting Authorities responded to the sound of gunfire in Reading on Monday night, April 1, to find a 19-year-old fatally wounded, city police said in a release.  Christian Disla died at the scene of the shooting, according to RPD. Duct-Taped Kitten Leads To Animal Hoarding Bust In Chester County: SPCA The discovery of a 1-month-old kitten wrapped in duct tape led animal cruelty investigators to "dozens of animals living in horrific conditions" in Coatesville, according to the Brandywine SPCA.  Animal Protective Services officers were responding to a call about a stray dog last week when they found the kitten with an untreated and infected severed front leg, the SPCA said.  The kitten, who officials said is named Roo, underwent emergency surgery and needed her leg amputated to stop the spread of the infection, according to the release.  While investigating the suspect…

Montco Motorcyclist Killed In Berks County Crash, Troopers Say State police have identified the motorcyclist who died in a Colebrookedale crash on Friday evening, March 29.  Devon J. Barrett, 31, was heading east on Township Line Road when his Suzuki crossed into the westbound lane around 5:30 p.m., troopers said in a police report.  He was fatally injured when his motorcycle collided with a westbound Honda Pilot, authorities said. The driver of the Honda was not injured.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene, according to the report.
