SEPTA Commuter Stabbed To Death On Train Platform, Police Say A 30-year-old man is dead after being stabbed at the Somerset SEPTA station in Kensington on Monday morning, April 1, Philadelphia police say. Officers rushed to the sound of a screaming man on the westbound platform to find the victim with a single stab wound to the chest, PPD said. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he died just after 9 a.m., authorities said.  One person is in custody and a weapon has been recovered, police said.

Allentown Woman Dies Months After Route 22 Rollover Crash, Officials Say A driver who was ejected from her vehicle in a crash on Feb. 3 has died from her injuries, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office on Monday, April 1.  Iris Crystal Mercado, 37, died from multiple traumatic injuries, the coroner said in a release. Her manner of death was accidental.  The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of Route 22 South Whitehall on the night of Feb. 3, officials said. State police have said Mercado lost control of her Ford Focus and struck an embankment before the car rolled over and she was ejected.
