NORWALK, Conn. -- William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance will host the second annual William Raveis Ride + Walk Connecticut, benefiting the Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation, on Sunday at Calf Pasture Beach in Norwalk.This family and community fundraising event will include a 5K walk, a 12-mile or 25-mile bike ride, and a children’s 100-yard dash.

Dog Lovers Stepping Out For Paws For The Cause In Ridgefield
RIDGEFIELD, Conn. -- Dog lovers can band together at the PAWS for the CAUSE festival this Sunday, a benefit for Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue, better known as ROAR. The event, open to dogs, their owners and everyone of all ages, will be at the Ridgefield Parks and Recreation Center from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 16, rain or shine.
