Salvatore Porretto Sr., 78, Lifelong Mamaroneck Resident
MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Salvatore Porretto Sr., a lifetime Mamaroneck resident, died on Saturday, April 2. He was 78.
Porretto worked for many years in the Parks and Highway Department for the Town of Mamaroneck. He was a volunteer member and former captain of Mamaroneck's Fire Department.
He is survived by his sons, Salvatore Jr. and Michael; granddaughters Ashley, Lindsey and Cydney; great-grandchildren Landen, Dean, Joseph and Jackson; and siblings Frank Porretto and Mary Levanti.

CLIFTON, N.J. -- Kathleen Delventhal Parian, of Clifton, died on Thursday, March 31. She was 62.
Born in Paterson, Parian was a lifelong resident of Passaic County. She graduated from DePaul High School and received a secretarial degree from Katharine Gibbs. Until recently, she worked as the practice manager for Dr. David Testa.
Parian loved cooking and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

FISHKILL, N.Y. -- William Kingman Minkowski, of Fishkill, died on on Friday, April 1. He was 74.
Born in New York City, Minkowski was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked for New York Telephone as a foreman prior to retirement. He enjoyed collecting movies, various themed mugs and Elk articles.

LODI, N.J. -- Rudolph Koch -- an East Windsor resident, formerly of Lodi -- died on Saturday, April 2. He was 71.
Born in Hackensack, Koch received his bachelor's degree from Rutgers University and his master's degree and PhD from Lehigh. Before retiring, he was a technical systems analyst for Selective Staffing Solutions, in New Brunswick.
