The students built both parallel and series circuits, as part of High Touch High Tech's program Edison's Workshop. High Touch High Tech -- with its logo of "Science Made Fun!" -- provides interactive events at schools, camps and parties. Upper Saddle River Fire Department Dealt With Downed Trees Sunday UPPER SADDLE RIVER, N.J. -- The Upper Saddle River Fire Department was dispatched to back-to-back calls for trees down involving power lines on Sunday afternoon, April 3. One was on Plymouth Road and another on Union Avenue. "Chief Vierheilig, Asst Chief Rauch, Engine 1232, and Utility 1251 responded," a department Facebook post noted. "Crews established a perimeter at both scenes to maintain a safe area until power companies arrived to make repairs." The windy weather downed trees across the region, and nearby Ramsey Rescue spent time clearing trees as well.
