STAMFORD, Conn. -- Frank "Frankie the Chef" Cesario, of Stamford, died on Wednesday, March 16. He was 74.Born in Italy, Cesario came to Stamford in 1953. He began working at The Brass Rail Restaurant for John Tassitano. He went from washing dishes and cleaning tables to becoming a well known chef in the area. Cesario worked in many area restaurants, including Jack Daniels in Greenwich, Italian Center Men's Club and The Piedmont Club.

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Concetta "Connie" Sgritta, a lifelong resident of Stamford, died on Monday, March 14. She was 85.
Sgritta graduated from Stamford High School. She worked at Reproductions of Stamford, Machletts and Bloomingdales of Stamford. She was an avid Yankee fan, and she enjoyed genealogy and crocheting.
She is survived by her sister Candida Mancusi of Stamford; sister-in-law Ann Sgritta of Cos Cob; and several nieces, grandnephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, Sabitino and Grace (Meli) Sgrita, and her brother, Salvatore Sgritta.

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Bridgeport resident Henry J. Sabatini -- also known as Rico or Hank -- died on Wednesday, March 16. He was 101.
Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, Sabatini worked for the former Fermont Manufacturing for many years, before he retired. He loved to sing and dance, take care of his garden, and work on puzzle books.
