NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Lyon -- a resident of Pawleys Island, South Carolina, formerly of New Rochelle -- died on Thursday, Feb. 25. She was 89.
Born in Pelham Manor, Lyon graduated from Pelham Memorial High School and trained as a nurse at Mount Vernon School of Nursing in the Cadet Nurse Corps during World War II. She later graduated from the College of New Rochelle with a bachelor of arts degree.

WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- Rose "Tootie" Facchiano -- a Wappingers Falls resident, formerly of Rockland County and the Bronx -- died on Wednesday, March 16. She was 80.
Born in the Bronx, Facchiano worked as a bookkeeper her entire life. Her hobbies included reading, baking, knitting, music and dancing. She was also an avid Yankees fan.

HYDE PARK, N.Y. -- Linda L. Hadden -- a Hyde Park resident for the past five years, formerly of Randolph, New Jersey -- died on Monday, March 14. She was 74.
Born in Poughkeepsie, Hadden graduated from Arlington High School and Hartwick College, Oneonta. A career nurse, she began working as an ICU nurse. Retired Yonkers Fire Department Captain David J. Roberts Dies At 62
YONKERS, N.Y. -- David J. Roberts, a longtime Yonkers resident, died on Tuesday, March 15. He was 62.
Born in Queens, Roberts was raised and educated in Yonkers, graduating from Gorton High School. He then attended the Engine City Technical School in Union, New Jersey. He was a captain in the Yonkers Fire Department, where he worked for 29 years, until he retired in 2010.
He was a parishioner of St. Anthony's Church. He enjoyed bowling, playing golf and going to NASCAR races.

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Anne M. O'Connor, a resident of Port Chester for 47 years, died on Wednesday, March 16. She was 69.
Born in Brooklyn, O'Connor graduated from St. Stevens High School Brooklyn, and Claremont College in New York. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Church, in Port Chester, and St. Peter the Apostle Church, in Naples, Florida.

Caroline Perucci, 93, White Plains Resident
WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Caroline Perucci, of White Plains, died on Wednesday, March 16. She was 93.
Born in White Plains, Perucci was a retired cafeteria worker for the White Plains Schools.
She is survived by her children, Frank Perucci of Thornwood and Ralph Perucci of Redondo Beach, California; grandchildren Corinne Pribanich, and Tara and Ryan Perucci; and great-grandchildren Kylie and Luke. Perucci was predeceased by her husband, Ralph; parents Frank and Anna (Yozzo) Cristello; siblings Bruno, Filomena and Grace Cristella.

LEONIA, N.J. -- The Leonia High School Class of 2016 will be hosting the annual "Monopoly" Card Party, on Friday, March 18.
The seniors are hosting this fun and exciting night to raise money for senior week. Stop by to win great prizes, have fun, and help support the Class of 2016 as it celebrates its 42nd anniversary.
