Theresa Reid, 50, Mount Vernon Resident
MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. -- Theresa Reid, of Mount Vernon, died on Monday, March 7. She was 50.Reid worked for the City of Mount Vernon, in the Planning Department. She is survived by her daughter, Rashayla Holley.
A wake will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. on Friday, March 18, with an 11 a.m. service, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 141 South Ninth Ave., in Mount Vernon. Rev. Dr. Darren M. Morton, will officiate. Lee O. Wood Funeral Home, in Mount Vernon, is assisting with arrangements.

Edward T. Pieluc, 90, Rutherford Resident
RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Edward T. Pieluc, a resident of Rutherford, died on Wednesday, March 16. He was 90.
Pieluc served during the Marine Corps during World World II. He received his undergraduate degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University and a master's degree from NJIT. He was an engineer in computer science with government programs, and worked at Lockheed and BAE Systems. Pieluc enjoyed traveling with his family to Florida and showing them the world.

Antoinette LaPorta, 71, Former Rutherford Resident
RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Antoinette A. (Carrier) LaPorta -- a Wantage resident, formerly of Rutherford -- died on Wednesday, March 16. She was 71.
LaPorta worked at Walmart in Newton and volunteered at the Wantage Animal Shelter.
She is survived by her husband, Philip LaPorta, and her siblings, Joseph Carrier and his wife Josephine, and Marion Cogan and her husband Todd. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Anna (Matteo) Carrier.

YONKERS, N.Y. -- Assunta Renzo, a longtime Yonkers resident, died on Tuesday, March 15. She was 71.
Born in Italy, Renzo "was a genuine person who was devoted to her family and her extended Renzo family," information from the funeral home notes. "She loved to cook for her family and was loved by many."
Renzo is survived by her husband, Tommaso Renzo; children Maria Amoretti, Salvatore Renzo and Andre Renzo; grandchildren Luigi, Julia and Thomas Amoretti, and Elianna and Thomas Renzo; Maria, Antonieta and Pasquale; and several nieces and nephews.
