Anna Caraccia, 102, Longtime Pearl River Resident PEARL RIVER, N.Y. -- Longtime Pearl River resident Anna (Mele) Caraccia died on Thursday, Feb. 25. She was 102. Born in New York City, Caraccia moved to Toritto, Italy, where she lived for 35 years before making her home in Pearl River for over 60 years. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Margaret's of Antioch Church. She had a great passion for knitting and crocheting, and playing Italian cards.
