Dorothy E. Rose, 90, Of New Rochelle
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Longtime New Rochelle resident Dorothy E. Rose died on Friday, Jan. 22. She was 90.
She was born in Waterbury, Conn., on April 27, 1925, to James and Mary (Morrissey) Kelly. The family moved to New Rochelle when she was 3.
She graduated from Albert Leonard High School in 1942.
After raising her children, she worked at the New Rochelle Public Library, retiring as the head of circulation in 1988.
Rose is survived by her sons, Andrew Jr. and Richard, and grandchildren Andrew, Kaitlin, Marie, Jaclyn, Richard and Andrew III.

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Port Chester resident Mary Catherine Prorokovic died on Friday, Jan. 22. She was 56.
"She was an example of true selflessness and a loving Catholic, always putting others before herself," according to obituary information from Legacy.com. "She had a way with words and a true gift of communicating even with a passing stranger, who was sure to become a friend."
Prorokovic enjoyed spending time with her pug, Bella, crafting chocolates and creating beautiful gift baskets.

Antonio Di Trolio, 90, Longtime North Arlington Resident
NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Longtime North Arlington resident Antonio Di Trolio died Friday, Jan. 22. He was 90.
Born in Italy, Di Trolio lived in North Arlington since 1963. He worked in the garment center in New York City, where he owned an apparel shop for many years before retiring 25 years ago.
Di Trolio is survived by son Peter of North Arlington; son Louis and his wife Mayra of Wood Ridge; and grandchildren Christine Martinetti and Grace Esteves.
He was predeceased by his wife, Ada (Fungaroli).

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Stamford resident Bella Pollack died on Saturday, Jan. 23. She was 91.Pollack is survived by her son, Leonard Pollack, daughter Lydia Singer and sister Gizi Perl.
A graveside service was held at noon on Monday, Jan. 25, at the Agudath Sholom Cemetery, Westhill Rd., in Stamford. Shippan's Thomas M Gallagher Funeral Home assisted with arrangements.
