Majancsik retired as a heavy equipment operator for the Town of Fairfield Public Works Department after 40 years of service. He is survived by wife of 57 years, Ann M. (Stankey) Majancsik; son John Steven Majancsik Jr. of Maine; grandson John Stanley Majancsik of Southport; and a niece and a nephew.
