Norwalk Community College Offers Free Tax Preparation Services NORWALK, Conn. -- Starting Saturday, Jan. 24, Norwalk Community College will offer free tax preparation and filing services for taxpayers with incomes below $49,000 for the 2015 tax season. This service will be provided by the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Preparation Program. Search Committee Picks New Superintendent For Darien Schools DARIEN, Conn. -- The Darien Superintendent Search Committee has chosen Daniel Brenner, current chief of the schools in Roslyn, N.Y., as its choice to lead the Darien school system and will recommend his appointment to the Board of Education at a meeting Tuesday, Jan. 27. Osborn Students Help New Rochelle Human Society RYE, N.Y. -- Members of the student council from Rye's Osborn Elementary helped out at the the New Rochelle Humane Society recently. Student volunteers brought in dog and cat food, supplies and carriers. Students also toured the society and got to pet a variety of dogs that need a home.

Yonkers Asks Residents To Give Feedback On Bus Drivers YONKERS, N.Y. -- An updated school bus safety sticker that reads, "How's My Driving?" will appear on all Yonkers' school buses. Buses without a sticker will be fined as part of an updated ordinance passed by Yonkers City Council in November. The City of Yonkers and Yonkers Police Department urge residents to call the number provided, (914) 377-7900, if a bus is operating in an unsafe manner.
