Lawrence L. Berglas, 90, Scarsdale Resident
SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- Lawrence L. Berglas, of Scarsdale, died on Thursday, Feb. 11. He was 90.
Born in Germany and educated in Germany, Holland, England and Ireland, Berglas served with the U.S. Army of Occupation in Italy and was honorably discharged in June, 1947. He graduated from Fordham University summa cum laude with a B.S. education degree, from NYU with a M.A. in administration and from Fordham Law.

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. -- Beatrice "Bea" M. (Lovallo) Conte, longtime resident of Port Chester, died on Saturday, Feb. 13. She was 88.
Conte was worked for Pitney Bowes in Stamford, Empire Brush Works, Port Chester Lumber Company, and Port Chester Rug and Linoleum. "She was a kind and gentle lady who loved her family and took great pride in her home," according to information from Craft Memorial Home.
