Robert Ruffino, 82, New Milford Resident
NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- New Milford resident Robert Ruffino died on Monday, Feb. 15. He was 82.
Born in the Bronx, Ruffino was employed as a clerk at Eckert Pharmacy, in Bergenfield.
He is survived by his nephews, Lawrence and Joseph Lunau. He was predeceased by his parents, Julia (Minkowsky) and Rosario Ruffino.
Services will be private. The Frech-McKnight Funeral Home, in Dumont, is assisting with arrangements.
Carmella Martelli, 94, Lodi Resident
LODI, N.J. -- Carmella (Tarantino) Martelli -- a Lodi resident, formerly of Paterson -- died on Tuesday, Feb. 16. She was 94.
Before retiring, Martelli was a cafeteria worker for Paterson Public School No. 15. She was a member of Lodi Senior Citizens.
She is survived by her husband, Dino A. Martelli; children Jean Canta of Lodi and companion Vincent Pecoraro, Gary Martelli and wife Joyce of Great Meadows, and Dino Martelli of Edgewater; grandchildren Chrisitne Youtz, Jaime Zabriski, Todd Martelli and Daria Chinni; and great-grandchildren Kaileigh, Will, Jackson, Lincoln, Rylee and Parker. …
Helen F. Lucas, 91, Former Paramus Resident
PARAMUS, N.J. -- Helen F. (Bugler) Lucas, formerly of Paramus, died on Tuesday, Feb. 16. She was 91.
Lucas was a secretary for the Hackensack Public School System for over 20 years.
She was predeceased by her husband, Paul, and her daughter, Denise.
Lucas is survived by her children, John, Paul, Timothy and his wife Michele, Christopher, Margaret Gordon and her husband Michael, and Matthew and his wife Dana; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and sister Anne Maxwell and her husband Gary.
