Arthur C. Eichler, 95, Wappingers Falls Resident WAPPINGERS FALLS, N.Y. -- Arthur C. Eichler -- a longtime Wappingers Falls resident, formerly of Beacon -- died on Monday, Feb. 15. He was 95. Born in Brooklyn, Eichler was an Army veteran of World War II. Prior to his retirement in 1984, he worked as a medical lab technician with Mid-Hudson Medical Group, in Fishkill, for 30 years. Eichler was a life member of the Hughsonville Fire Company. He attended St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls with his wife. He had recently been baptized a Catholic. She was 76. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at Congregation Sons of Jacob Cemetery, Route 202 and Route 9W, in Haverstraw. Rabbi Wohlberg officiated. The first pickup is Wednesday, Feb. 24. Field Goods works with small, local farms to bring fresh produce to the public.
