Carmel M. Finnegan, 80, Longtime Yonkers Resident
YONKERS, N.Y. -- Longtime Yonkers resident Carmel M. Finnegan died Tuesday, Jan. 5. He was 80.
Born in Ireland, Finnegan worked as an office manager for Prudential Insurance in New York City.
She loved great food and always was trying new dishes at restaurants in the area. She was a member of the Church of Saint Eugene.
Finnegan is survived by her husband, Frank; daughter, Jacqueline; sister, Maureen; brothers, Noel, Larry and Frank; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister, Bridie.
A memorial Mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, at Saint Eugene…
Agnes Martin, 87, Tarrytown Resident
TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- Longtime Tarrytown resident Agnes Martin died Tuesday, Jan. 5. She was 87.
Martin worked for many years as the secretary at Transfiguration Church in Tarrytown. She was an active member of the Tarrytown Seniors, as well as the Transfiguration Seniors.
She is survived by her son Roger Martin Jr. of New Fairfield, Conn.; daughter Ellen Martin of Niskayuna; and grandchildren Kristin, Kelly, Katie and Christopher Martin.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roger Martin, and her parents, Charles and Helen Girvan Herrion.

Jayne S. Wallbrunn, 61, Of Bridgeport
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Jayne S. Wallbrunn, a Black Rock resident and formerly of Ridgefield, died Sunday, Jan. 3. She was 61.
Wallbrunn had a varied career, mirroring her wide range of interests: cooking, literature and finance. She managed The Food Chandler restaurant in Ridgefield for many years. She also was a consultant for Reader's Digest and worked as a banking executive.
Wallbrunn also loved sailing, music, books, photography and dogs. She was an active member of Pequot Yacht Club in Southport and was a co-owner of a J36 sailboat.

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- June H. Gill, formerly of New Rochelle, died Tuesday, Jan. 5. She was 85.
Gill was born in New Rochelle and retired as a dental assistant in Damascus, Pa.
She was predeceased by her son, David Conover; her parents, Edwin and Eleanor Schauer Hilser; and siblings Edward and Vincent Hilser, Eleanor Perri, Claire McNamara and Eugenia Straehle.

GARFIELD, N.J. -- Garfield resident Irena Pacyga died Tuesday, Jan. 5. She was 55.
In addition to spending time with family, Pacyga enjoyed taking her beloved dogs Juicy, Lucy and Opie on long walks.
She is survived by her husband, Jan Pacyga; children Piotr, Anna and Ewelina; grandchildren Alexander and Maya; not-yet-born grandson Grzesiu; siblings Antoni Pacyga, Maria Hornik and Zofia Kalata.

Henry J. Arsenault Jr., 77, Former Duchess County Resident
DUCHESS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Henry J. Arsenault Jr., of Ghent and a former longtime Duchess County resident, died Sunday, Jan. 3. He was 77.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, Arsenault attended Dutchess Community College, where he studied drafting. He worked from the late 1970s to 2000 as a drafting instructor at Green Haven Correctional Facility.
Arsenault had a lifelong passion for baseball. He played minor league baseball for the Cleveland Indians, and on returning to Duchess County, he coached the Rhinebeck Indians JV baseball team and the Vassar College baseball team.
