Blossom Dorfman, 92, Of Haverstraw
HAVERSTRAW, N.Y. -- Haverstraw resident Blossom Dorfman died Thursday, Dec. 31. She was 92.
Dorfman was born in 1923 in the Bronx.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Ave., Valhalla, with Rabbi Mendi Lewis officiating.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hellman Memorial Chapels, 15 State St., Spring Valley.
Lorraine Ciaiola, 67, Former Brewster Resident
BREWSTER, N.Y. -- Lorraine Ciaiola, a hospice resident in Danbury, Conn., and former resident of New Fairfield, Conn., and Brewster, N.Y, died on Tuesday, Dec. 29. She was 67.
Ciaiola grew up in the Bronx. She got a master's degree from Mary mount College and worked for the Putnam County Health Department as a registered dietitian. She later became the director of the WIC Program.
She is survived by her daughter Heather and son-in-law Seth Murphy, as well as two grandchildren, Jacob and Katelyn.

NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- Lorraine Ciaiola, a former resident of New Fairfield and Brewster, N.Y., died on Tuesday, Dec. 29, at the hospice in Danbury. She was 67.
