Renovated Fair Lawn Food Pantry Recently Dedicated FAIR LAWN, N.J. -- The Fair Lawn Food Pantry has undergone quite a renovation, following a major donation from a local family, in memory of the late Edith Wigod. The food pantry operated out of a converted closet with "ugly walls and awful shelves," according to Director Liz Twiggs. It now sports modern, sturdy shelves, among other features. Wigod was a Fair Lawn resident from 1975 until her death in 2002, at 93. Jeffrey Atherly, 54, Former East Fishkill Resident EAST FISHKILL, N.Y. -- Jeffrey Alan Atherly -- a Sarasota, Fla.,  resident, formerly of East Fishkill -- died on Sunday, Dec 27. He was 54. Atherly was born in Syracuse, grew up in East Fishkill and went to Arlington public schools. He did construction for most of his adult life, specializing in tile work and siding. He was significantly injured in 2003 and retired to Florida and its warm weather. Prior to the accident, Atherly loved classic rock music, skiing and playing golf. The move addresses the issues Robert Hilzer of the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs raised in his Oct. 8 letter.
