Rev. Joseph Palmisano, 41, Has Family In Monroe
WESTON, Mass. -- The Rev. Joseph R. Palmisano of Weston, Mass., died on Friday, Dec. 25. He was 41.Palmisano is survived by his parents, Joseph and Dolores (Rosarbo) Palmisano of Monroe, Conn.; brother John Paul Palmisano of Monroe, Conn.; grandmother Theresa Rosarbo of New Haven; uncle Vincent Rosarbo of New Haven; and many of his Jesuit Brothers.

Zoltan Kovacs, 94, Formerly Of Bridgeport
STRATFORD, Conn. -- Zoltan J. Kovacs, a resident of Stratford but formerly a longtime resident of the Black Rock Section of Bridgeport, died Sunday, Dec. 27. He was 94.
A World War II veteran, Kovacs became a toolmaker for the Bullard Company.
He was a bowler at Nutmeg Bowling Alley for more than 50 years, up to as recently as a few weeks ago, and was a president of his bowling league. He also loved to swim at the Eisenhower Senior Center.
Kovacs is survived by his sisters-in-law, Betty Soltis, Mary Yacko and Tessie Kovacs; many nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. …
Joao R. Rocha, 60, Of Lodi
LODI, N.J. -- Lodi resident Joao R. Rocha died Sunday, Dec. 27. He was 60. Rocha was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, where he served as an usher and was a member of the Lodi Portuguese Club.
He is survived by his wife, Rosa (Brito) Rocha; parents, Carlos Rocha and wife Monica of Colonia, and Carla Giordano and husband Al of Lake Worth, Florida; grandchildren Marie Josephine Giordano, Michael Jonathan Giordano, Christopher Matteo Giordano, Alexa Gloria Rocha and Isabella Carly Rocha; 12 brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Lifelong Poughkeepsie resident Catherine J. Del Cotto died on Wednesday, Dec. 23. She was 82.
Del Cotto was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Wappingers Falls.
She is survived by her daughters and their husbands, Debbie and Tony Tiberio of Highland, Candy and Bill Boyd of Milton, Cathy and Jeff Boldrin of Wappingers Falls; grandchildren Michael and Vanessa Boyd, Todd and Tammi Boyd, Nick Tiberio, Jamielyn, Juliana and Jeffrey Boldrin; and great- grandchildren Breanna, Tyler, Hailee, Andrew and Emily.

Anthony D'Alessandro, 82, Longtime Yonkers Resident
YONKERS, N.Y. -- Longtime resident of Yonkers Anthony J. D'Alessandro died Saturday, Dec. 26. He was 82.
D'Alessandro was a longstanding member of Mason Tenders Local 79.
He is survived by his wife, Gail; brother John and his wife Marie; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his sister Carmela Capriola.
Visitation hours are from 3-8 p.m. Monday at John J. Fox & Sons. There will be a funeral Mass at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Saint Philip Neri Church, 3025 Grand Concourse, the Bronx. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Anna Rosa, 88, Of Paramus
PARAMUS, N.J. -- Paramus resident Anna (Gragnano) Rosa died Thursday, Dec. 24. She was 88.Rosa is survived by son William Rosa and his wife Yvonne of Paramus; grandchildren Anthony Rosa and Jacqueline Kaufman and her husband Michael; and siblings Marcella Challener and Edward Gragnano.
She was predeceased by her husband, John Rosa, and son Ronald Rosa.
