Catherine Theresa Gallagher 'Kate' Gover, 88, Pleasant Valley Resident
PLEASANT VALLEY, N.Y. -- Pleasant Valley resident Catherine Theresa Gallagher "Kate" Gover died Wednesday, Dec. 23. She was 88.
She was a daughter of Charles Brooks and Marion Cunningham Gallagher.
Gover worked at Wassaic State Hospital as a food service supervisor for 20 years, retiring in 1991.
She is survived by her daughters, Donna Szabo of Hyde Park and Theresa MacLarion and husband, Charlie of Pleasant Valley; sons, Lawrence Gover and wife, Linda of Otego, N.Y. and Matthew Gover and wife, Cindy of Pleasant Valley; brother, Robert Gallagher of Poughkeepsie; and several gran…
Gustave John 'Bud' Klockgeter, 100, Of Ossining
OSSINING, N.Y. -- Gustave John "Bud" Klockgeter, a resident of Ossining, died Wednesday, Dec. 23. He was 100. An Army veteran of World War II, he was the proprietor of Meadowbrook Provisions, in the Bronx, until he retired.
Klockgeter is survived by his daughters Constance and Susan, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Anne (Ardovino) Klockgeter, and his parents, Gustave & Rosamond (Gereghty) Klockgeter.
Visiting hours are at 11 a.m. Monday at Dorsey Funeral Home, followed by the service at noon. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Leon John Moody II, 77, Of Craryville
CRARYVILLE, N.Y. -- Craryville resident Leon John Moody II, died Saturday, Dec. 19. He was 77.
A U.S. Army veteran, Moody also was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local #1249.
Moody is survived by sons Leon John Moody III, of Churchtown, and Andrew R. Slitzker, of Pittsfield, Mass.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister.
He was predeceased by his wife, Mary; and his parents, Leon and Elizabeth (Spang) Moody.

MAYWOOD, N.J. -- Maywood resident Catherine Grant (Scalamandre) Grandinetti died Monday, Dec. 21. She was 82.Grandinetti was a manager in several New York and New Jersey businesses, as well as secretary and computer vice president of the Catenate Group. in Maywood.
