Angelina Scala, 80, Of Yonkers
YONKERS, N.Y. -- Longtime Yonkers resident Angelina Scala died Wednesday, Dec. 16. She was 80.A native of Italy, Scala brought her cooking to New York in 1956. She lived in Yonkers from 1969 onward.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Vittorio; her children, Michael Scala, John Scala, Victor Scala, Ann Marie Cavanaugh and Christine Gallucci; 10 grandchildren; siblings Frank and Anthony Attardi, Michelina DeMonte and Rosa Merz; many nieces and nephews; and "four furry grandchildren."

Alan William De Feo, 65, Glen Rock Resident
GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- Longtime Glen Rock resident Alan William De Feo died Saturday, Dec. 19. He was 65.
De Feo had lived in Glen Rock since 1976, after moving from Wyckoff. He was the owner and operator of Crossroads Harley Davidson Dealership in Allentown, Pa., until 2012. Prior to that, he'd worked at National Community Bank for 22 years.
He is survived by his wife Cathleen (Piercy); his mother, Mary (Simpson) De Feo of Wyckoff; his sister, Gay (De Feo) Cohn and her husband Edmund of Richmond, Va.; his seven nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Margaret E. Herrick, 89, Dutchess County Resident
LAGRANGE, N.Y. -- Lifelong area resident Margaret E. Herrick died on Monday, Dec. 14. She was 89.Herrick was a real estate agent in Poughkeepsie for many years, and she was the owner and operator of the Art Depot in LaGrangeville.
She attended Trinity United Methodist Church, and enjoyed genealogy, gardening and art. Herrick was also author of a genealogy and history book. Herrick is survived by her husband of 65 years, Winfred Herrick, and was predeceased by her daughter Dale Herrick.

FISHKILL, N.Y. -- Fishkill resident Josephine P. Kreider died Sunday, Dec. 13. She was 104. Though a Pittsburgh native, Kreider was a Fishkill resident for 13 years. She enjoyed many hobbies throughout her life, which included gathering with friends and family; reading; crossword puzzles; baking; sewing; and gardening.

Pellegrino Soriano, 91, North Arlington Resident
NORTH ARLINGTON, N.J. -- Former longtime North Arlington resident Pellegrino Soriano died Monday, Dec. 14. He was 91.
Soriano was born in Jersey City and lived in North Arlington for the past 45 years.
He was a Navy veteran.
Soriano was a mechanical designer for the Philips Magnavox in Mahwah for 15 years, before retiring in 1993.
He was the father of Ronald Soriano, Patricia Soriano Bunger, Robert Soriano and Victor Soriano, and had seven grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his wife Julia (Tremonte).
