Two Cortlandt Stores Charged In Underage Drinking Detail WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- New York State Police charged two employees from separate stores in an underage drinking detail on Dec. 30, according to officials. Police used a 19-year-old volunteer who attempted to purchase alcoholic beverages from 12 different stores, police said. Deep Freeze Continues In Norwalk; Overnight Snow Showers Possible FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Bitter and potentially dangerous cold will linger in Fairfield County through Thursday night, when snow showers will begin to move into the area. Easton-Redding Consider Changes In Bus Schedule For Schools EASTON/REDDING, Conn. -- School officials for Region 9 schools for Easton and Redding are proposing changes in bus schedules in an effort to cut costs, according to the Redding Pilot. Superintendent Bernard Josefsberg proposed a reduction from a three-tier bus system to a two-tier schedule due in large part to declining enrollment, the Redding Pilot said. A two-tier system means one bus schedule would run for Barlow while the other schedule would be for the elementary and middle schools, the Redding Pilot reported.
