Gorton HS Freshman Suspended After Fighting Teacher YONKERS, N.Y. -- School officials continue to probe an incident in which a Yonkers substitute teacher fought with a freshman student at Gorton High School who allegedly attacked him, according to News 12 Westchester. Car Hits Westchester Police Officer In Yonkers YONKERS, N.Y. -- A Westchester County police officer was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle on the Saw Mill River Parkway on Friday morning, according to LoHud.com.  The officer, Paul DeSousa, was attempting to help another disabled vehicle when he was struck.
