She was born in Sharon, Conn., to James and Margaret Hutchinson Honour. Brower was a rural postal carrier for U.S. Postal Service in Pleasant Valley for 31 years. She retired in 1982. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, in Pleasant Valley, and a member of Ralph T.
