Annual Candy-Making Workshop At Fairfield's Pequot Library FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Pequot Library will be hosting its 11th year of kids’ candy making, with a workshop Friday, Feb. 5, for kids in grades K-8. Kids will make professional-looking chocolate treats for Valentine's Day, as well as a gift box and card. The event is from 4-5 p.m., and there is a $5 materials fee per child. Anti-Bullying Workshops For Special Needs Children At Tenafly JCC TENAFLY, N.J. -- As seen in the Jewish Link and Jewish Standard, an interactive bullying workshop is being offered for the special needs population Feb. 2 and 9. The sessions will be conducted by a licensed psychotherapist, who will offer concrete skill-building on self advocacy, peer advocacy, rights and roles and how to prevent and address these issues. Born in New York City, Corbo served in the U.S. Army Signal Corps in World War II. He was a police officer with the N.Y.
