ROCKLEIGH, N.J. -- Rebecca Adele Grossman -- a Rockleigh resident who was born on New York City -- died on Thursday, Jan. 28. She was 95.
Services were held on Friday morning, Jan. 29, at Hellman Memorial Chapels, in Spring Valley, N.Y. Interment was to follow at Beth David Cemetery, in Elmont, N.Y.

ENGLEWOOD, N.J. -- Ellen P. (Moran) Fader -- an Englewood resident who was formerly a longtime resident of New Milford -- died on Sunday, Jan. 24. She was 95.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Fader was lover of music and an award-winning painter. She was a member of the Women’s Club of Englewood and the Rosary Society of the Church of the Ascension, in New Milford.

Elizabeth B. Hodges, 87, Former Poughkeepsie Resident
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. -- Elizabeth B. Hodges -- a Salt Point, N.Y., resident, formerly of Poughkeepsie -- died on Tuesday, Jan. 26. She was 87.
She was born in Poughkeepsie on Oct. 3, 1928, to Francis X. and Paula Schwarz Beck.
Hodges was an x-ray technician for 36 years at St. Francis Hospital, in Poughkeepsie.
Hodges is survived by her children, Warren Hodges Jr. of Hyde Park and Eileen Weller of Salt Point; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Warren Hodges; son Stephen Hodges; and brother Francis Beck Jr.

MONSEY, N.Y. -- Jacob Yablonsky -- a Monsey resident who was born in New York City -- died on Thursday, Jan. 27. He was 82.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, Jan. 27, at Community Synagogue, in Monsey.
Rabbi Tendler officiated. Interment was to follow at Community Synagogue Cemetery, in New Hempstead. Hellman Memorial Chapels, in Spring Valley, handled the arrangements.
Anna Mary (Basilico) Pagliuca, 83, Paramus Resident
PARAMUS, N.J. -- Anna Mary (Basilico) Pagliuca died on Thursday, Jan. 28. She was 83.
Before retiring, Pagliuca was a substitute teacher for the Paramus Board of Education. She belonged to the Senior Pioneer Club, in Paramus.
Pagliuca is survived by her children Joanne Pagliuca and Dennis Clarke, Gina Boller and husband Jay; grandchildren Julia and Joseph; and brother Carmelo Basilico.
She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Pagliuca.

MOONACHIE, N.J. -- Goldie E. (Hary) Catania -- a Moonachie resident, formerly of St. Petersburg, Fla. -- died on Tuesday, Jan. 26. She was 76.
She was born in Cleveland.
Catania was a cashier at Publix Supermarket, in St. Petersburg, for seven years, before retiring in 2002.
She is survived by her daughters, Darlene Baneky and Cindy Barilari; grandchildren A.J., Theresa, Christopher and Thomas; great-grandchildren Denise, Arianna, Luis Jr., Alyssa and C.J.; and sister Beverly Gatliff.

Cornelious Wade Jr., 69, Bridgeport Resident
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Cornelious M. Wade Jr. -- a Bridgeport resident, formerly of Rocky Mount, Virginia -- died on Friday, Jan. 22. He was 69.
Wade was born, raised and educated in Rocky Mount. He was a veteran of the Marines who served in the Vietnam War, receiving numerous letters, ribbons and medals. Upon return to private life, he helped his father manage the family farm.
He later moved north, to Bridgeport, where he worked in private industry for several years. He later became an independent trucker and started up his own company.

WOOD-RIDGE, N.J. -- Wood-Ridge resident Joseph A. Scaparro died Wednesday, Jan. 27. He was 92.
Born in Jersey City, Scaparro was an Army veteran of World War II who was awarded a Bronze Star. Before retiring, he was a maintenance worker for Becton-Dickinson in East Rutherford.
